Pastor Waldir Agnello

First Director and Founder Partner of the

Foursquare Publishing House

In 1988, the National Council approved the project of the creation of a Publishing House linked to the Foursquare Gospel Church in Brazil. However, it was only in 1991 that this project had its start. It was born of an offering by the the brothers in the U.S.A. to the publishing of the book "Fundamentos da Teologia Pentencostal" (Foundations of the Pentecostal Theology).

This offering, added to the hard work of Pr. Waldir Agnello and Ms. Marli de Jesus, brought the project to reality - The "Editora e Publicadora Quadrangular Rev. George Russell Faulkner" (Foursquare Gospel Publishing House Rev. George Russell Faulkner). The name was a fair homage to the president who leaded the church during twenty-six years.

The first books to be published were "Foundations of Pentecostal Theology", "The Foursquare Gospel" and "The Story of a Life". Its statute was registered in the year of 1992 and its council is composed by founder partners, maintainers partners, benefactors partners and transitory partners. The first ones are the members of the National Council and the National Coordinators at the time of its foundation, the last ones are the members of the actual National Council.
